Crewe Alexandra would like to update supporters on preparations for the new season and the prospect of fans returning to the Alexandra Stadium.
2020/21 Season Tickets
The Football Club would like to extend a thank you to every supporter who has already purchased a season ticket for the 2020/21 season. Your new season card will be posted out to you shortly.
Unfortunately due to the restrictions imposed as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic, a number of games at the start of the 2020/21 season are likely to take place behind closed doors.
We’re hopeful that any 2020/21 season ticket holder will receive free streaming access for home league fixtures games. This is subject to final confirmation from the EFL
Attending Fixtures
The Football Club is still awaiting formal guidance as to when supporters will be able to attend matches at The Alexandra Stadium. Current government guidance indicates that this could be from October but it is likely that numbers will be restricted.
Early indications suggest that the reduced capacity at The Alexandra Stadium is likely to be in the region of 3,000 although this is subject to change.
Season ticket holders will be given priority access to attend fixtures under reduced capacity but please note it is unlikely you to be seated in the season ticket seat you purchased.
Supporters will also have to agree to a Code of Conduct before entry back into the stadium is allowed.
Social Bubbles
Early information from the SGSA (Sports Ground Safety Authority) suggests that groups living at the same address will be able to occupy seats together. This is a benefit to supporters and club alike, as the allowed capacity will increase (the more people we can seat together the higher the capacity).
The Football Club will be seating spectators at the same address, however we are asking that if you would like to be seated with other members of your social bubble that are not registered at the same household then to please let us know via email at tickets@crewealex.net or by phone 01270 252610.
We also have an answering machine for you to leave the details. Please note that this only applies to season ticket holders and a maximum of six people can be sat together. This is from a maximum of two households.
We’re asking 2020/21 season ticket holders to let us know this information by 5pm on Wednesday 26th August, as once seated in your alternative seats, seat moves will not be possible. You will be sent a temporary season ticket to use whilst social distancing is in place. Seating will be computer generated.
Disabled Seating.
If you do have any mobility issues the club is unaware of them also please let us know.
