During the period of social distancing due to the Coronavirus pandemic many supporters may be feeling particularly isolated at the minute and at Crewe Alexandra we want to try and combat that isolation.

That’s why boss Dave Artell, several players and other senior figures at the Football Club have agreed to give up some time to have a phone call with those who need it the most.

The call might be to discuss our promotion push or even what is going on in the world at the minute but we want to be there for our supporters.

Obviously we will try and help as many supporters as possible who will benefit from this initiative, but we will give priority to our season ticket holders and those who may be impacted more by the social distancing measures.

We aim to conduct a number of calls on Friday afternoon of this week.
