David Artell has updated the club’s fan base in relation to everyone’s health. The Alex boss continues to be in contact with his staff and players and has revealed that everyone is ‘fine and remaining in good spirits.’
The Crewe players will continue to work at home until it is safe to return to the Training Ground.
Football was ‘suspended indefinitely’ on Friday with a date of April 30th unsurprisingly quashed.
Artell told the club’s official website: “I am in communication with the staff and players and everyone is fine. We have no new issues and that is the most important thing.
“The players have to remain fit and we will continue to set them challenges. We have come up with a new one today and it is just designed to keep them engaged in football as much as possible.
“There are no games to watch at the moment, unless you follow football in Belarus and I don’t know anyone personally who does!
“We have just to make the best of a bad situation and everyone is in the same boat. As a football club, we just have to make sure we are to ready to go again when we get the green light to return.”
