David Artell has admitted to the club’s official website that there are plenty of positive signs to take from our form over 2019 but that there is still a lot of hard work to get through over the next seven months to realise the overall ambition of promotion.
The Crewe boss told crewealex.net: “It is still very early on in the season and we have only played 10 games but there are some real positive signs.
“Our form over 2019 has been consistent but there is still room for improvement. We have lost some games we shouldn’t have against Cambridge and Newport and we have had to come from behind in a number of our games.
“I said a month or so ago that is hasn’t been revolutionary, its more evolution but there is still a long way to go.
“The lads are in a good place right now and they are driving each other. That is the culture we wanted to create and it is bearing fruit at the minute.”
