Exeter City Manager Matt Taylor has won the EFL Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month award for August 2019.

Crewe boss David Artell was nominated for the accolade alongside Taylor, Newport boss Mike Flynn & Grimsby gaffer Mike Jolley.

Exeter topped the league at the end of August with 14 points as Taylor's side remained unbeaten, winning four & drawing two of their six matches.

Crewe ended the month on 12 points with four wins & two defeats to sit third in the division. All four nominated managers were from the top four in the league table.
