David Artell is expecting a competitive game at Grimsby Town this weekend with two of the league's current top four teams going into battle.

The fourth-placed Mariners have scored more goals than anyone else in League Two so far this season, but Artell has briefed his troops on how to stop the hosts & take advantage of their weak spots in the hope of securing maximum points at Blundell Park.

Dave said: “It’s going to be a good game. It’s a good early test for us but one we’re looking forward to.

“Mike’s done a good job, I think he’s got a few more bob to play with this year & he’s making the most of it so far.

“We’ve got to stop them & expose their weaknesses, which we think they’ve got some, so we’ve got to approach the game like we have been doing & try & win the game.

“We’ve won four in six in the league & we’ve got to keep that kind of run going. We go there believing we can win & we’ve got to make sure we go there & do it.”
