Alex boss Dave Artell is wary ahead of his side's Leasing.com Trophy clash with Burton Albion at Gresty Road tonight.
The League One side, managed by Nigel Clough, have enjoyed a decent start to the new season winning five of eight games with an unbeaten away record still intact.
Although both teams are expected to make changes for the Northern Group E tie, The Alex gaffer is still expecting a good footballing game.
Artell said: “We played Burton behind closed doors towards the end of last season at St Georges Park & they're a real good team with a good manager.
“He knows the game inside out & he’s got a good staff as well behind & they play the right way – it will be a footballing game.
“I know the fans that came to watch Villa saw a footballing game, but the ones who came to watch Walsall & Bradford only saw one team trying to play football.
"This game will be two teams trying to play football in the right way & we’ve got to make sure we come out on top."
The match kicks-off at 7:30pm & tickets are available from the ticket office at £10 adults, £6 seniors & £2 juniors. Click here for more info.
