Crewe Alexandra are awaiting on scan results for Olly Lancashire after he suffered an Achilles injury against his former club Swindon Town. The defender stepped up when Nicky Hunt was forced off with a knee injury and played 70 minutes of our 3-1 win over the Robins.
Lancashire missed the mid-week home draw with Colchester and the club medical staff have ordered a scan and are now waiting input from a specialist.
Manager David Artell told crewealex.net: “Olly has been sent for a scan and now we are waiting for the specialist report to come to us.
“We have tried to nurse him through it but it hasn’t been possible. We’ll have to wait and see.”
