Crewe Alexandra head to Mansfield Town, looking to get off the mark in the Leasing.com Trophy Northern Group E.
The Alex were defeated by Sky Bet League One side Burton Albion in the competition’s opener last month, but will hope to pick up their first points at the One Call Stadium.
Similarly, the Stags will be hoping for their first win in the competition, having lost 4-1 on penalties to Everton Under-21s after a 1-1 draw.
Mansfield will be boosted from their 1-0 win away to Grimsby on Saturday, with Krystian Pearce scoring a 96th minute winner to snatch all three points for John Dempster’s side.

David Artell has spoken about some of his fringe players staking their claim with good performances, and some could be given an opportunity on Tuesday night. The Alex made eight changes in their previous Leasing.com Trophy fixture against Burton Albion, and could make a similar amount.
Will Jaaskelainen is away on international duty with Finland Under-21s, David Richards is set to start in goal. Travis Johnson, Rio Adebisi, Owen Dale, Oli Finney, Callum Ainley and Josh Lundstram all could feature, as they wait for their opportunities.
Mansfield:
In the Stags’ previous Leasing.com Trophy fixture, John Dempster opted for a mixture of youth and experience, and could do the same when the Alex make the trip to Nottinghamshire.
They will be without Hayden White, however, as the defender was sent off in their 1-0 win over Grimsby on Saturday.
