Crewe Alexandra will look to build on their recent impressive form as they welcome Swindon Town to Gresty Road on Saturday.
The Alex have enjoyed a great start to the season and currently sit top of the SkyBet League Two table after a brilliant 4-2 away win against Carlisle United last week.
David Artell’s side are unbeaten in five league matches and six in all competitions, so Crewe will look to extend that run in the first of two back-to-back home games against Swindon tomorrow.
Swindon have also made a strong start to the campaign under manager Richie Wellens, as they currently sit seventh in the table with 21 points after 13 matches.
However, the Robins are winless in their last four matches in all competitions, but have already managed three wins in seven games on the road so far this season.
Date: Saturday 19 October 2019
Competition: Sky Bet League Two
Venue: Alexandra Stadium
Referee: Marc Edward
Previous Meeting at Host Club: Crewe 1-0 Swindon (October 2018)
Crewe: Olly Lancashire is a doubt for this weekend’s fixture against Swindon Town, after the defender picked up a knock in the 4-2 win over Carlisle last Saturday.
Other than that, Dave Artell will have a full squad of players to choose from for the match against The Robins, with Will Jääskeläinen returning from international duty to bolster the Alex’s goalkeeping options.
Swindon: Richie Wellens’ side also have no new injuries ahead of travelling to Gresty Road tomorrow, but Daniel Ballard remains sidelined with a knee injury.
Meanwhile, Keshi Anderson is a doubt for the clash with Swindon to make a late decision on the striker after recent hamstring issues, while the visitors are also boosted by the return of winger Diallang Jaiyesimi.
