Match Preview: Alex Travel To Face Forest Green

Crewe Alexandra travel to The New Lawn to face Forest Green Rovers tomorrow and the Alex will be looking maintain the momentum which sees them top the SkyBet League Two table.

Dave Artell’s men have now gone eight games unbeaten after Tuesday’s goalless draw against Colchester United, including five wins coming from those eight matches.

The Alex will face a tough test on the road against Forest Green Rovers however, who currently sit third in the table with 28 points after 15 games.

Rovers have won seven of their last 11 matches in all competitions, with four of those victories coming at home.

Crewe: Olly Lancashire and Daniel Powell remain doubts for this weekend’s match against Forest Green Rovers with both waiting on results from specialist scans on their respective achilles and ankle injuries.

Dave Artell is hopeful Powell will be involved, whilst he had no other injuries to report at Friday’s pre-match press conference ahead of the trip to The New Lawn

 

Forest Green: Rovers have no new injuries or suspensions ahead of this weekend’s fixture, with Mark Cooper boasting a full squad of players to choose from for the visit of Crewe Alexandra.
