Crewe Alexandra Goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen has been called up for Finland Under 21's upcoming UEFA Euro Championships qualifiers.

The stopper linked up with the international team at the weekend following the Exeter game and will miss the Leasing.com Trophy tie at Mansfield as well as Saturday's League Two trip to Carlisle United.

After playing in both qualifiers in September and impressing against Ukraine and Northern Ireland, Jaaskelainen is now set to take on Malta U21 and Denmark U21 with both games on Finnish soil.

The Malta game takes place on Thursday and the Denmark clash on Monday with Will set to return to the Alex by Wednesday next week.
