Gaffer wary of U's threat this evening.
David Artell has described tonight’s visitors, Colchester United, as a dangerous opponent.
The Alex boss says that his in-form Crewe side have to be wary of the U’s, especially after they suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to Morecambe at the weekend. Crewe go in search of an eighth game unbeaten at Gresty Road and Artell says that his side will have to play as well as they did against Swindon to make sure that run continues.
Artell told crewealex.net: “Colchester have played a couple of formations this season and that is something John (McGreal) has addressed. Maybe last season, Colchester were one dimensional so they have looked at that.
“They lost some good players in the summer so they have had to rebuild a bit as well, but they have good players and are a dangerous opponents. We have to be wary of them.
“They have their good strengths but like all teams they have their weaknesses as well and it is up to us to exploit that.
He added: “We are confident and rightly so. We are looking forward to the games because winning is infectious.”
