Crewe Alexandra manager David Artell says he is proud to manage the club regardless of what we are in the league. His in-form Crewe side have the chance to go top of League Two tomorrow with a win over the current leaders, Exeter City, but Artell says that regardless of what occurs, he will continue to treat his position with the respect it deserves.
The Crewe boss told crewealex.net: “I am proud to be Crewe manager regardless of our league position. It is a terrific football club with terrific and knowledgeable fans.
“I will always be proud to be the manager and treat the position with the respect it deserves. That doesn’t change if we are 1st, 2nd, 12th or 15th.
“I want as many local people to be a part of what we are trying to do and achieve and get more local people supporting their local team instead of supporting a Premier League club with no clue who is running it and they cannot place a face never mind have the chance to meet them.”
