Boss says it will be nice to go top for the fans this weekend
David Artell says that a major part of his job is to make the town and local community proud of the Football Club.
The Alex can go top of the League Two table tomorrow with a win over the current leaders Exeter City and Artell says that he hopes that his side are providing entertainment to our loyal supporters.
The Alex boss told the club’s official website: “One of my primary jobs is to make our fans proud of the club. It doesn’t matter if it is 40,000, 400,000 or the 5,000 plus who come to our game on Saturday, as a manager we want to make them proud to support the club.
“We want people to go shopping wearing their Crewe shirts and we are in the entertainment business, so we want to want them to feel entertained and I think we have done that at home over a decent period of time now.
“We want as many people as possible to be a part of that and hopefully there will be a few more coming back to the ground to watch us. Long may the good feel factor continue and hopefully we can make them proud by going top on Saturday night.”
