On the 11th day of the 11th month...we will remember them

The club would like to thank both sets of supporters for the impeccable period of silence that accompanied the playing of the Last Post on Saturday.

With no home games over remembrance weekend, Crewe Alexandra conducted their day of remembrance against our near neighbours Port Vale and both sets of supporters were a credit to their clubs and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the country.

Crewe captain, Perry Ng and Leon Legge laid wreaths ahead of kick-off and our thanks also go to PA announcer Andy Scoffin for overseeing the tribute to our fallen.
