Lancashire Expected To Miss The Next Couple Of Months

4 November 2019

Olly Lancashire is expected to be out for at least two months after aggravating his Achilles. The defender is in a supportive boot and will continue his rehabilitation with the club’s head physio Owen Clarke.

The club tried to see if they could manage the injury and the centre-half featured as an early introduced substitute against his former club Swindon Town. Lancashire will now receive the necessary healing time and boss David Artell moved quickly towards the end of last week to bring in free agent, Christian Mbulu as extra cover.

David told the club’s official website:  “Olly will be out for around 8 weeks, maybe a little bit longer. He is in a boot and he will continue with his treatment.

“Obviously it is a blow but as one door closes another one opens and that is why we have brought Christian in.”
