Performances are showing that we are a good side, says Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell.
The Railwaymen have now lost just one game in the past 11 matches in all competitions and Saturday’s 2-0 win over League One side Accrington Stanley has seen us progress into the second round of the FA Cup.
Crewe have also won six away games so far this season and Artell has been pleased with the progress being made.
The boss told the club’s official website: “Our away form has been good and we have won six. I think the defeat at Newport was unjust as well and I think anyone who went to that game would say that too. The Newport game is the Crawley game of last season for sure.
“We are a good team when teams come at us. We have been a good team when they sit in and try and make things difficult and we are a good side when they want to come and play football against us.
He added: “I think we are proving that we are a good side regardless of what the opposition want to do. We know that if we play well then we have a chance of winning the game and that is the mentality we are taking into every game.”
