Boss on red card suspension and how he will learn from the mistake going forward.
Crewe boss David Artell has told the club’s official website that he is grateful to the FA Commission for hearing his case at Tuesday’s personal hearing.
Artell will serve a one match suspension at tomorrow’s game at Grimsby following his red card at Swindon.
David told crewealex.net: “I was given a one match ban and a fine and I am grateful to the commission for giving the verdict they did. I won’t go into too much detail but I didn’t think I deserved to be there.
“I thought my presence as worthwhile and I was generally remorseful that I ended up being send to the stands. I stressed that to the commission and it is something I will look to amend going forward.
“I will serve my punishment and trade it in my stride and learn from it. It is what it is and it is an inconvenience but I will be in communication with the bench, with Kenny and Fred.”
