Crewe Alexandra youngster Rio Adebisi was presented with the Harold Finch Scholar of the Year Award by his Under-18s manager Lee Bell, after he missed the presentation evening following our 4-3 home over Forest Green.

Bell presented Rio with his award at the club’s training ground base after he was unable to attend the presentation night because he was playing for Neil Baker’s Leek side.

Adebisi helped Leek reached the play-offs and Bell accepted the award from Harold’s son, Steve, in his absence.

We would like to congratulate Rio on his award and for the season he has had both on and off the pitch.

The Harold Finch award has been introduced this season as a lasting memory to the club’s long-serving club historian. Harold sadly passed away in November at the age of 91.
