Coach praises fans after hefty season ticket uptake
Crewe Alexandra coach Alex Morris paid a special tribute to the Club's supporters after the number of early bird ticket sales hit the 1,700 mark with the deadline expiring over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The figure is 250 greater than was sold at this same stage last summer & is working proof that the bridges between the Club, the supporters & the team are growing stronger.
Morris told us: “That’s brilliant news. It’s a real great credit to our supporters to smash where we were at last year in terms of numbers.
“It’s great stuff & there is a long way to go now before that first ball is kicked in August, so hopefully there will be a real surge between now & the start of the season – once the games kick-in with pre-season.
“That will help to encourage & motivate the supporters to renew if they haven’t renewed yet & to buy one if they haven’t had one previously.
“Hopefully we can push the boundaries & break records for the last five or six years in terms of season ticket sales.”
Season Tickets are still on sale ahead of the 2019/20 - click here for more info.
