Crewe Alexandra striker Jordan Bowery has yet to decide on his future at the Club with the offer of a new contract still on the table.
The 27-year-old's current deal is set to expire at the end of June, with the striker now free to find another Club.
But David Artell offered his man a fresh deal towards the end of the 2018/19 campaign & Assistant Manager Kenny Lunt says they are waiting for an answer.
However, the Alex management team are actively looking for replacements & Lunt insisted the offer to Bowery won't remain open all summer.
Kenny told us: “Jordan is in the same situation. He’s on his holidays, he’s waiting & we’re waiting to see what he wants to do.
“The contract is still there, but it won’t be there forever. We’ll just see what happens with that one.
“There are players out there that can help us that we’re going to try & bring to the Football Club to help us improve."
