The Crewe Alexandra Medical & Sports Science Department won the Medicine & Performance Team Members Award for League Two at the 2019 FMPA awards dinner earlier this month.

The team, which includes Mark Cornish, Liam Anderson, Tom Lamb, Austin Doherty, Owen Clarke & others, scooped the prize at the ceremony held at the Radisson Blu East Midlands Hotel with the award in other divisons going to Southampton, Sheffield United, Portsmouth & Heart of Midlothian.

Everyone at the Football Club would like to congraulate the medical team on their acheivement, which was demonstrated in the 2018/19 season by a fairly empty treatment room & stong fitness levels that kept the players going right the way through the campaign.
