Congratulations to defender Billy Sass-Davies after his involvement at Junior level for Wales is rewarded.

Crewe Alexandra defender Billy Sass-Davies was recently presented with his Wales Under-19 cap after representing his country over the last 12 months. The Abergele-born centre-half has become a regular for Paul Bodin’s Under-19 side and was a member of their UEFA European Championship Elite Round.

The 19-year-old made his first team debut against Newcastle United U-21s in last season’s Checkatrade Trophy group stage last season and he has enjoyed further first-team experience out on loan with the likes of Colwyn Bay, Leek Town and FC United of Manchester.

Sass-Davies has most recently joined Altrincham Town on loan.
