4 March 2019

Goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen kept goal as Nantwich Town kept up their hopes of securing an Evo-Stik Premier Division play-off place with a 4-2 victory over Stalybridge Celtic.

That followed up a 2-0 win and clean sheet for the on-loan Alex stopper over Bamber Bridge last midweek.

Against Stalybridge, there was a goal for former Alex youngster Toby Mullarkey as well as a first in Dabbers green for veteran striker Ricardo Fuller.

In the same division, Luke Offord too tasted success as Witton Albion kept up their fine form with a 2-1 victory over Scarborough Athletic.

In the National League North, Josh Lundstram & bottom of the table Nuneaton Borough suffered defeat again, 4-1 at Kidderminster Harriers, though they held the hosts to 1-1 at half-time.

Their were 2-2 draws for both Lewis Reilly & Billy Sass-Davies, as their Curzon Ashton & FC United of Manchester sides drew with Bradford Park Avenue & Hereford respectively.

Reilly played 81 minutes of the contest, but the Nash return to league action tonight as they take on Guiseley. Sass-Davies got 90 minutes under his belt for second bottom FC United.

Hartlepool United carried on regardless without the injured Michael Raynes, picking up a 2-2 draw themselves at Sutton United having been 2-0 down.
