Jordan Bowery says he is ‘happy and enjoying’ his football at Crewe Alexandra and that is a positive vibe to have as we entered the final few months of his contract.
Bowery, 27, has scored nine goals this season and has also sacrificed playing in his preferred position of playing through the centre in a two-man attack for the benefit of the team.
The Nottingham-born forward told the club’s official website: “I have not heard anything more on my contract. We spoke before Christmas and said that we would wait until January and February, so I am sure they will resume soon. We will wait and see.
“I am happy here and I am enjoying it. I am playing regularly and I really enjoy it.
Jordan added: “I prefer to play through the middle as a two but I don’t mind playing on the right. I really don’t mind where I play. I will play wherever the manager wants me to play for the team.”
