James Jones is set to return for the club’s Development squad at Millwall later today but boss David Artell says that he will remain cautious with the midfielder as he steps up his return from an ankle injury.
Jones, who has scored five goals from midfield this season has not featured since injuring his ankle in an awkward fall at MK Dons on 19th January.
David told crewealex.net: “Jonah will play today and we will look to see if we can play him for as long as possible. I have had a conversation with Mark (Cornish) over the weekend and with Alex (Morris) about the length of time and we will see how he gets on.
“Jonah is not shy to let us know how he feels or how his body is, which is good. That’s right, so we will see how he is and take it from there.”
