Food Bank: Bring What You Can To Help The Supporters Club

The Railwaymen Supporters Group are holding a Food Bank at the Alexandra Stadium this coming Saturday prior to the Northampton Town match.

They will be situated immediately outside of the ticket office from 1pm-3pm & are collecting to help make a difference in the community to help the people of Crewe.

If you can spare any non-perishable food items, then please bring them along on Saturday & show your support!

Chairman of The Railwaymen Supporters Club, Mark Beavan, said: "We strongly agree with the Football Club's & John Bowler's philosophy of being a proud community Club.

"Where else do you get 3000 people together, many of whom are from the local community?

"We hope supporters will embrace the opportunity to help out local people by donating what they can to our food bank."

Please note, The Railwaymen are unable to accept any non-perishable food (such as meat, fruit or veg).

High priority items to bring are:

Potatoes (tinned or powdered)

Biscuits/Crackers (snack food)

Custard (tinned, packet or carton)

Pasta/Spaghetti/Noodles

Soup (tinned or packets)

Sponge Puddings (tinned)

Rice Pudding (tinned)

Vegetables (tinned or dried)

Baked Beans/Spaghetti

Sauces (curry or pasta)

Fruit Juice (cartons)

Tomatoes (tinned)

Jam/Marmalade

Tea Bags/Coffee

Instant Gravy

Meat & Fish (tinned)

Fruit (tinned)

Milk (UHT)

Sugar

Cereals

Rice
