Crewe Aim To Keep Cheltenham's Winless Run On The Road Going

28 March 2019

Crewe Alexandra host Cheltenham Town at Gresty Road this weekend with Michael Duff’s side aiming to end a disappointing run on the road.

The Robins have lost six successive away games after enjoying an emphatic 4-1 win at Yeovil on New Years’ Day.

They have been consistent at their Johnny-Rocks home stadium though and Artell is wary of their threat which could include former Crewe players Billy Waters, Luke Varney and Chris Clements.

Ahead of our home meeting with Cheltenham this Saturday, the gaffer said: “Cheltenham have been good at home but have lost a few away. They have a tight pitch at home and they play to their strengths.

“They are not used to winning away from home and we have to make sure that continues. We know it will be another tough game but it is one game at a time for us. It is another three points and that is the aim. “
