David Artell says that his Crewe Alexandra defence will have to be on top of their game to keep Tranmere Rovers’ prolific striker James Norwood quiet this weekend.
The 28-year-old forward is the leading markskman in League Two this season with an impressive 25 goals in all competitions.
Artell is an admirer of the former Forest Green attacker and says that he is clinical when facing the goal of opponents.
Ahead of our Friday night clash at Prenton Park, Artell said: “Tranmere are very competitive side, Micky is a good manager and they have bright players.
“Norwood is dangerous when he is facing your goal and has a chance, so we have to look after that. He is a quality finisher.
“We have played Tranmere twice this season and beaten them twice, so we have to do it again.”
