Crewe Alexandra FC make the trip to Wales to take on Bala Town in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 23 July 2019, 7:45pm kick-off.

On the same evening, a Crewe Alex XI also make the trip to Whitchurch Alport for another friendly as Dave Artell looks to give his full squad valuable match time ahead of the new season.

A young side travelled to Bala last summer for a friendly & were beaten 1-0, with boss Artell keen to send a stronger side to Maes Tegid this summer to experience the tough test.

The players have returned to full pre-season training today (Thursday 27 June), with the first friendly at Nantwich Town just nine days away & the Sky Bet League Two season kicking off in 37 days time.
