Defender Christian Mbulu and forward Paul Taylor will get another chance to impress in tonight’s friendlies against Witton Albion and Curzon Ashton.

The two trialists have been involved in our two opening friendlies against Nantwich Town and Altrincham and David Artell says he will aim to make a decision on them soon.

Artell told the club’s official website: "We'll pick the teams based on who we want where, what combinations we are working on in training and hopefully we'll see that.

"We've spoken to (the trialists) and we're still looking at them. We're not going to keep them here as long as OJ was on trial for, we've got to be fair to them.

"They understand what I've said to them, otherwise they wouldn't be here, and I think we'll soon get to the point where those decisions can be made.

He added: "It's always good if you get an opportunity to look at a player and get to know them before, why not? There's no reason we shouldn't take that opportunity.”
