Ahead of Friday's (26 July) Open Family Fun Day at The Alexandra Stadium, Crewe Alexandra would like to thank all of our partners and contributors that make the day possible.
Some businesses are providing a service or activity on the day & some are providing a cash injection & the football club are extremely grateful for all the support it has received in order to hold the popular community event.
On the day, Selecta Tyre Crewe are once again bringing their inflatable speed goal along, challenging visitors to strike their hardest shot. There will be three prizes for different age categories, giving the lucky winners the chance to have a tour of the England training base at St Georges Park.
Keeping on the active side of things, Macesports are bringing along a Teqball table for visitors to test their skills. What is Teqball? click here to find out.
Hickory's Smokehouse Crewe are attending their first open day, bringing along their popcorn & slush machines & Sugro will once again be supporting the open day with the provision of sweets & crisps.
Paul's Coaches are bringing the Crewe Alex first team bus along for supporters to have a look on board, whilst Cheshire Police are again bringing their police cars along for pictures & sit-in experiences.
The Cake Kitchen will be selling cakes, with My Candy Cloud selling sweets as well as our charity partner Mid Cheshire Hospitals setting up a stall.
Morrisons Crewe & Nantwich stores have both got on board, as have Apex Connected, SCK Group, Joseph O'Connell, Handson Safety & Graham Tressider (Nantwich Funeral Services).
Our thanks to all of our valued parters & contributors on what we hope will be a fantastic day.
Supporters are reminded that the family fun day will take place from 10am-2pm & will also feature the Crewe first team training on the pitch (10-12), the Alex Women training on the pitch (12-1), a range of inflatable fun & games & our popular magician & balloon modeller is back to keep the whole family entertained!
On top of all that, young supporters will once again be able to take aim at their favourite players by throwing wet sponges at them in the stocks as well as having their face painted & getting autographs in the arranged signing sessions.
There will be a burger van & an ice cream van on site with plenty of options for hungry open day-goers to purchase & the bar will be open in the Carlsberg Lounge to keep everyone refreshed.
