Crewe Alexandra Football Club will be paired with Burton Albion & Mansfield Town in Northern Group E of the 2019/20 EFL Trophy.

A draw will take place live on Talksport on Friday 12 July at 12:30pm to determine which of the Under 21 invited Clubs will join the group.

One of Aston Villa, Everton, Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United or Wolverhampton Wanderers will complete the four-team group following Friday's draw.

Confirmed fixtures will also follow, with Crewe set to again play two home games (including against the U21 invited team) & one away match.
