Crewe Alexandra Football Club will travel to Middlesbrough in the first round of the 2019/20 Carabao Cup on Tuesday 13 August 2019 with a 7:45pm kick-off.

The first round draw was made on 20 June and pitted The Alex against the Teeside club.

The contest will be Crewe's third match of the new season, taking place after the season opener against Plymouth Argyle at Gresty Road on August 3, and then first away trip of the campaign at Oldham Athletic on August 10.
