21 January 2019

Update on Reilly, Raynes, Lundstram, Sass-Davies & Jaaskelainen

Lewis Reilly helped Curzon Ashton to a 1-0 victory at Chester FC as the Nash won their fourth straight game in the National League North.

Reilly played 75 minutes of the contest at Chester's Deva Stadium, being substituted off shortly after Olly Crankshaw netted the only goal of the game.

In the same division, Josh Lundstram played 90 minutes on his debut for bottom side Nuneaton Borough as they drew 2-2 at Hereford United.

Billy Sass-Davies too played the 90 minutes for FC United of Manchester as they fell into the relegation zone with a 1-0 defeat to fellow relegation-zone occupant Ashton United.

Michael Raynes made his National League debut for Hartlepool United in the early game on Saturday in front of the BT Sport cameras at Harrogate Town where the Pools were defeated 3-1.

Goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen didn't play as Nantwich Town's match at Buxton FC was postponed due to snowfall.
