Jones Has Suffers Severe Ankle Ligament Damage

24 January 2019

The result of James Jones’ scan has revealed that he has not suffered a fracture in the lower part of his leg - but the midfielder has suffered severe ligament damage of the ankle.

It was feared that the former Academy graduate had suffered a suspected broken leg after being on the receiving end of a hefty challenge against the MK Dons on Saturday. Jones was able to complete the 90 minutes but left the Stadium MK on crutches.

A scan has now revealed that he has suffered lateral ligament damage.
