Influential Crewe Alexandra pair Paul Green & Eddie Nolan are doubtful for the Club's trip to Morecambe on Saturday.

Green was forced off just before half-time in the New Years Day defeat at Bury with a knee problem, whilst Nolan missed the match with a calf strain.

Green has since had a scan on his knee, & it's as yet unknown the results of that scan & whether or not the midfielder is fit to return or faces a spell on the sidelines.

Nolan too will be assessed at Reaseheath today ahead of the trip to the Globe Arena.

Goalkeeper Coach Fred Barber said: "We've been waiting for the physio to get in touch with the gaffer to give us the update after Greeny's scan - we're just waiting for the results.

"Eddie is improving, but it's just a matter of seeing how he goes today with training.

"We don't know as of yet of either of their availability for tomorrow but we're always hopeful."
