Done Deal: Aaron Taylor-Sinclair Joins On Loan From Motherwell

30 January 2019

Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of full-back Aaron Taylor-Sinclair on loan from SPL side Motherwell.

The 27-year-old has now completed a medical & all the formalities & will link up with David Artell's squad at Reaseheath in time for Saturday's meeting with Carlisle United.

Sinclair joined Motherwell in the summer from Plymouth Argyle, but has made only nine appearances north of the border this season.

He started out with six years in Scotland at Montrose & Partick, before signing for Wigan Athletic on a free transfer in 2013.

Sinclair only started one game, in the League Cup, during 12 months with the Latics, but made over 50 appearances for Doncaster Rovers in the two years following that.

In 2017 he joined Plymouth Argyle & made 29 appearances, before his switch to Motherwell.

The Aberdeen-born defender has become David Artell's second signing of the January transfer window after Jamie Sterry signed on loan from Newcastle United at the weekend.

Taylor-Sinclair has been handed the number 31 shirt at Gresty Road & could make his debut in front of the home supporters this weekend.
