Artell Has Great Respect For Tisdale's Teams

18 January 2019

David Artell is looking forward to meeting up again with ‘football man’ Paul Tisdale.

The Alex boss is expecting a good footballing challenge against promotion seeking MK Dons this weekend and he has enormous respect for the former Exeter City manager.

Ahead of this weekend’s clash at Stadium MK, the Crewe boss said: “Paul is a good manager and a good man. He is a football man and I like him.

“Every time Kenny and myself have met him he has always been terrific with us and I hope that continues aside from the 90 minutes tomorrow.

“Paul wants to play the game the right way and I respect that. It should be a really good footballing match and that excites you as a manager.

“I don’t want my team to just whack it. I am not interested in that. I don’t want to be in the technical area watching that and I don’t think our fans do either.

“It should be a good game of football between two of the best footballing sides in the division. We will go there, to a lovely stadium and try and play.”
