David Artell has told the club’s official website that there may be ‘bits and pieces’ happening at Crewe Alexandra during the January transfer window.
The Alex boss has to decide on the future of his two on-loan full backs, Kevin O’Connor and Corey Whelan and has to do what is best for the club in regards to the out on loan Brad Walker.
Walker, 23, has done well for Wrexham in the Conference, scoring four goals as the Welsh club battle to return to the EFL.
Artell has not ruled out the possibility of someone coming in for one of his young starlets and there may be some movement on those who are currently on the fringes of the first-team squad and not getting game time.
Although early days in regards to the window opening, Artell said: “The window has only been open for a few days but we could do some business in the next few weeks.
“We have planned accordingly and there could be some bits and pieces in regard to both ins and outs. We’ll just have to wait and see. It is still very quiet at the moment.”
