Crewe Alexandra’s latest loan signing, Aaron Taylor-Sinclair is hoping that his first involvement for his new club will come in Saturday’s Cheshire derby against Macclesfield Town.
Taylor-Sinclair has joined the Alex on loan until the end of the season from Motherwell and the 27-year-old defender is determined to earn himself a move back to England this summer through his performances.
The former Doncaster Rovers and Plymouth full-back appreciates that he first has to get into a Crewe team that have only lost one of their last seven games.
Aaron told iFollow the Alex: “I have settled in well and all the lads and staff have been welcoming to me. It is a young squad so I feel a bit old but it has been good. There is a nice blend.
“I want to play my football in England and hopefully this is an opportunity to show what I can do. It hasn’t worked out as well as I would have liked at Motherwell due to circumstances.
“I know the team are doing well at the moment and it is up to me to get into the team. All I can do is train well and try and force my way in.
He added: “It was disappointing not to have played last week but we have a derby game this weekend. We will be well supported there and hopefully I can be a part of that.”
