Club to assist Macclesfield and Cheshire Police in their ongoing investigation into incidents at Moss Rose.

Everyone was shocked and disappointed by the actions of our small number of our supporters following Macclesfield’s late equaliser on Saturday. Entering the field of play is illegal and will result in consequences for offenders.

We will endeavour to help Macclesfield Town and Cheshire Police in their ongoing investigation and we reiterate that this type of aggressive behaviour has no place in football.

99.9% of the support at the Moss Rose was first class. They behaved impeccably throughout, created a fantastic atmosphere and represented the club in such positive light. It was shame that it ended on a sour note and we hope it didn’t spoil the day for those Crewe supporters.
