David Artell says his team face an organised and powerful Northampton side this weekend.
David Artell is expecting another tough challenge at home to Keith Curle’s Northampton Town side this weekend. The Crewe Alexandra boss previously played under Curle and knows from experience how organised and difficult to beat his sides are.
Crewe will be aiming to bounce back from Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Exeter City and get our outside chances of a play-off place back on track.
Ahead of the Northampton fixture, the Crewe boss: “It will be another tough game. Northampton are a big, physical side and Keith knows what it takes. He knows the league and we know it won’t be easy.
“We will be mindful of what Northampton do. They change their formation a lot so that is something we will work on, but I’m sure they will be worrying about us as well. We have got to focus on what we do first and foremost and Northampton will be thinking the same.
“We fell off the horse on Saturday and we have to jump back on it. We have got to get going as quickly as you can.”
