David Artell has told crewealex.net that his side have a ‘fourteen-game shoot-out with twelve other teams’ to decide the play-off places. 

The Alex boss knows that the teams that can show the most consistency over the remaining few months of the season will be making up those play-off places and he is hoping that his in-form side can be right in the mix.

David told us: “There is a fourteen game shoot-out with 12 other clubs. That is the long and short of it and whoever does best in those 14 games will have something to cheer about.

“Hopefully, we can be right in the mix but there is still a long way to go. I always thought that this team was capable of going on a run like this. I always believed because I see them train every day. I work with them every day.

“I just wish that it started earlier back in September because we would have been in a great position.”
