David Artell says the mentality of his players will be spot on if the game at the Moss Rose gets to go ahead this weekend. The Alex boss says that training and preparation has been as normal and they all taken part in today’s final session ahead of our proposed game at the weekend at Macclesfield.

Artell says that his durable players will take it all in their stride.

The boss told the club’s official website: “The mindset of the players will be fine. There won’t be an issue.

“Nothing has changed and we have prepared as normal. They have worked hard and not playing the game has not entered our thoughts really. We have carried on as normal.

“Now if anyone has switched off, which I doubt and not listened or taken in what we have done this week, then it will be them looking an idiot tomorrow afternoon if the game is on not me. They will get found out.

“They are not like that though and they have trained well. They want to play. They are full of confidence and they want to play, it is what they have worked all week for.”
