David Artell says that visiting Stevenage is always a tough place regardless of who is in charge. The Alex travel to the struggling side this weekend and the Alex boss says it is never an easy place to get a result at the best of times.
Stevenage have recently turned to their former manager Graham Westley to inspire them to some points and move them away from the relegation drop zone. Westley is taking charge for a fourth time but he does not officially take over until Monday.
Ahead of this weekend’s fixture, the Alex boss told us: “It is always a tough place to go. They have a new manager in Graham, so will they get a bounce we will have to wait and see.
“I am not sure if he is in charge for the game but we will certainly be there and I am sure he would have had some input during the week and in training. He is a good manager.
“Stevenage is always tough, it would have been tough last week if Graham hadn’t been appointed as well. It is never easy, it is a narrow pitch and the fans are right on top of you.
“They are usually tight games and they make things difficult for you. They are fighting for their lives so it will a tough game.”
