David Artell says that goals help massively but he is quick to point out that the likes of Chuma Anene and Oli Finney have to fit into the team structure as well.

The manager was asked if scoring a goal is enough to justify selection the following game and the Artell replied that there is more to it than that.

The manager explained: “Scoring goals like Chuma has done helps massively. That is his job and it makes a massive difference for the team – but they also have to play well. Not just Chuma. They have to fit into the way we want the team to play and perform well.

“They just cannot rely on getting a goal and then expecting to play the next game. They get that as well and understand there is more to it. They know they just cannot rely on that.

“Chuma has done well and Oli always looks like getting chances and he has to finish a few more of them. He is another one who looks like scoring goals from midfield for us."
