If the problematic issue between the Macclesfield Town players and the ownership of the club can be resolved in time for us to play this weekend, David Artell is expecting another tough local derby.
If the game goes ahead remains very much in the balance after the Macc players went on strike over continuous unpaid wages.
Artell told crewealex.net: “Moss Rose is always a difficult place to go and we know what adversity can do. It can galvanise you and it is obvious that the players are all sticking together and fighting together there.
“They have stuck together as a group through all the off field stuff and they have a great camaraderie.
“We know that if the game goes ahead that it will be a tough game. They have a good home record and it is always tough against them at their play.
“We want to play, our confidence is high. We are third in the league an want to stay in those top places. We are taking a lot of supporters and we want to keep building our momentum. “
