Lee Bell's Under 18s started their Professional Development League 2 season with a home scoreless draw against Bristol City.

After the graduation of last season's second year scholars & the induction of a new set of first years, it was the first chance Bell & Assistant Manager Michael Jackson had to look at their new look squad.

Despite failing to win the game, the pair will no doubt be pleased with his side's clean sheet in the opener.

Next up is a trip to Cardiff City for the young charges on Saturday, with a 1pm kick-off in South Wales
